New York Fashion Week Beauty Trends
To wrap up NYFW here are some trends we loved and some we loved to hate!
The classic style has been brilliantly reworked for spring/summer. Have some fun pairing your favorite Spring colors for a fun french manicure!
For the most part, faces have been natural with some contouring and highlighting here and there. Lipstick has been practically non-existent (Jason Wu being an exception), with some makeup artists even going so far as using foundation and concealer to cover lips up completely. So the color story is in the eyes for spring 2013.
A light dusting of pale pink shadow can give you a romantic soft look. However, a huge slash of fuchsia across the lid or rimming the upper and bottom lids might not be the most attractive look.
We have seen a lot of minimal natural looks in the runway lately however for Spring 2013 designers are picking black liner to define lids and add a touch of drama.
We have seen a lot of cotton candy colors these past season but Nicole Miller took it to another level! Unless you are dressing up as Rainbow Brite or My Little Pony for Halloween we do not recommend this look.
