Fuga: Top Italian Salons in Southport and The Loop

Fuga Centro

Co-owner and Master Stylist Antonio Favaro began his 25 year career in his native Italy after training with Sassoon, Dessange and Longueres amongst other big names in the international hair industry. During his time in Italy, Antonio was heavily involved  in the fashion scene, where he had the opportunity to style for various fashion designers in Milan before opening his own salon. After meeting his lovely American wife Kristen, Antonio moved to the United States and opened Fuga in 2004.  As Kristen puts it, it was love at first cut and the rest is history…two flagships Chicago (Southport Corridor & The Loop) and nine years later Antonio and Kristen have become a definite power couple in the Chicago beauty industry.   Each location blends Italian design elements with a Chicago architectural twist,  designed to help clients experience the best of Italy without ever leaving Chicago.  Cappucino anyone????

In addition to Antonio and his stylists’ focus on creating exquisite hair cuts and color, both Fuga locations feature a range of full-service spa services from facials and waxing to massage and other bodywork.  Fuga sources essential Italian ingredients and product lines to maximize results for each treatment.  We adore the Monticelli Mud Therapy Body Treatment for all-over tightening and purification.  Inside the Millennium Park location, you will find a selection of  Italy’s latest fashion trends complemented by a stunning view of Millennium Park!  Looks familiar? You might recognize Fuga Centro from our  CS MAGAZINE SHOOT!
